We had set the bar pretty high with our first two albums. By now Harbor Lights had established a reputation in the marketplace for great performances and production quality. We knew that for a third album we would have to take it to an even higher level.
We wanted to assure our fans that if they loved the first two albums, they would love this new project even more. We needed a title that would deliver that message.
We decided “The Next Level” would be a perfect.
Once again, John Carpenter from Thunderclap Studio worked his wonderful engineering magic and brought the production quality to a state of the art level.
A selection of 10 great classic hits, strong lead vocals, wonderful harmonics in the background vocals and a driving bass for spot on tempo. All of these ingredients provided a solid foundation for one of the most enjoyable acappella Doo Wop albums ever recorded.
